Bruises

Bruise Treatment

As soon as possible after the bruising has occurred wrap some ice cubes in a towel and place this on the affected area. Alternately use an ice-cold compress.

2 drops of geranium

2 drops of lavender

2 drops of rosemary

Dilute it in a small bowl of cold water and apply it as a compress

The homeopathic remedy Arnica is also extremely effective.

As the bruise develops and begins to turn green or yellow, massage the affected area to help disperse the bruise. Massage will increase the local circulation and encourage the blood which was released into the surrounding tissues to drain away.

Bruise essential oils

1 drop of black pepper

1 drop of geranium

1 drop of lavender

1 drop of rosemary

(Remember to dilute it in 10 ml of carrier oil)
